In this duo exhibition, the worlds of Barbora Žilinskaitė and Delphine Cuelenaere meet in a visual and sensory dialogue. Both artists share a deep interest in the relationship between people, materials, and memory. Though their forms and techniques differ greatly, they are united by a sensitivity to the poetic potential of materials and a desire to make the unspoken tangible.

Barbora Žilinskaitė (b. 1996, Kaunas) approaches design as a sculptural practice. Using brightly colored, organic shapes—made from reclaimed sawdust—she explores the intimate bond between humans and objects. Her works resemble semi-living beings: strange and familiar all at once. By attributing human-like features to her sculptures, she invites the viewer into a space of empathy and reflection. What does it mean to approach an object not merely as a tool, but as a partner in dialogue?

Delphine Cuelenaere (b. 1986, Ghent) invites us into a quiet, magical world of wood, color, and line. Her monumental works emerge from a laborious, artisanal process of carving, gouging, and printing. Every line carries traces of a personal search—intuitive, meditative, and open to the unknown. The works hover between abstraction and recognition, suggesting landscapes, shelters, or vague figures that linger just beyond the reach of memory.

Together, the works of Žilinskaitė and Cuelenaere create a space in which time slows down—a space to wander, to feel, and to remember; where objects whisper and silence speaks.
