DMW ARTIST EDITIONS
A selection of editions made by artists represented by DMW Gallery to mark specific occasions, including shows at international art fairs, solo exhibitions at DMW, or the release of a new artist book. These editions are a convenient entry point into the oeuvre of our artists for beginning and established collectors alike. Editions are available at our gallery and online, unless sold out as indicated below.
In addition to the editions below, DMW artists have also made special multiples to conclude their duo shows at our space. These multiples can be viewed and ordered here.
Caroline Van den Eynden, ‘Connection Between Memory and Desire’, 2019
Edition by Caroline Van den Eynden accompanying the release of her artist book with the same name. The edition represents different apartments in a high-rise, including a unique penthouse apartment. Each edition consists of 4 bars of soap that emanate a specific smell, each one of which contains a piece that together form a sculpture. The buyer can construct this sculpture after using the bars of soap. The multiple and its impermanence in turn reference the large soap installation by Caroline Van den Eynden titled ‘Elemental Entropy’, and the overarching theme of the artist’s exhibition at Art Rotterdam 2019. The edition comes with a complimentary copy of the artist book. Edition of 14 apartments (9 x 15 x 5.5 cm) and 1 penthouse (25 x 11.5 x 6 cm).
